Job details	Organisation Description Our client is registered charity organisation supported by a large number of volunteers. Our client relies on relies on the local community for a large proportion of it’s income through fundraising. Job Description To deputise in the Manager’s absence and to promote, manage and develop the volunteer service for our client internally and externally to the mutual benefit of the organisation, patients and there families/carers & volunteers. Duties: * Promote our clients mission and values to the volunteer teams * Deputise in the managers absence * Develop and extend volunteer support to the organisation * Work with the manager to review and evaluate policies and proceedures * Maintaining accurate records for the department to enable production of statistics and reports on a regular basis * To assist in recruiting * Manage own development and training The hours are 9.00am - 15.30 Monday - Friday Person Specification The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate confidently and effectively using the telephone or on a face to face basis. The ideal candidate will need to be a strong team player with a sociable and outgoing personality, will need to be flexible and have the ability to work under own initiative. The ideal candidate will need to have basic IT skills and will need to be able to present information to individuals and groups using a variety of presentation skills. To have an interest in the ethos of hospice care and an understanding of charity work is not essential but would be a advantage.
