This leading car manufacturer based in Milton Keynes are looking for a Team Leader Operations Services.
As a team leader of Operations services you will work in the Customer Services Department. Your duties will be: • Provide clear communication, direction and leadership to ensure that service levels are achieved and maintained • Apply key controls in order to protect the interests of the company and ensure compliance to legislation • Identify staff training and development needs by monitoring individual and team performance using relevant reporting tools to recognise good performance and address areas of weakness • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide support for implementation of key initiatives to improve service, efficiency increase sales and manage risks. • Anticipate workloads and ensure work is prioritised and distributed to deliver constant departmental service levels • Resolve more complex staff and customer issues and demonstrate confidence when making appropriate business decisions • Monitor staff sickness/ rotas and take necessary action to maintain the effectiveness of the team • Coach employees to maintain their development and motivation, and to ensure they are able to achieve or exceed their objectives. Provide technical advice on products, system and processes as required • Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals, ensuring business objectives set are consistent with the departmental and company strategy • Develop and maintain strong links with other business areas in the CSC and work cohesively with other departments to ensure delivery of overall CSC objectives • Conduct regular team meetings ensuring communication is open and to help foster team spirit. Act as an interface between management and staff to ensure that business plans are clearly understood and followed • Produce and compile performance reports and trend analysis for own business area for review by senior management • Contribute to the development of future departmental plans in order to maintain ongoing development and improvement within the CSC and the company as a whole SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Experience gained within the automotive/financial services industry. • Supervisory or equivalent, experience working within an operational environment, e.g. New Business / Underwriting or Customer Service and Collections • Full PC literacy essential, including MS tools • Excellent communication skills across the spectrum up to Senior Management / Board level Salary to £27,000 plus company car, possible profit related bonus, Bupa, Childcare Vouchers, Subsidised restaurant, On site Medical dept, 27 days holiday. |
