Media Assistant, Charity, Kent £18-25,000 temp, possibly to perm Our clients are a successful and established Charity based in Mid Kent who are looking for a full time Media Assistant as they look to bring their PR and Marketing function in-house. This role will initially be for a period of around 2-3months, where there will then be an opportunity to apply for the permanent position. There is a great deal of work to do as the PR and Marketing function is bought in-house and you will be required to hit the ground running, so we are only looking for candidates who have at least 18 months experience in a PR/Marketing capacity. You will be handling charitable event applications, fundraising activity, liaising with the media at all levels, running events and setting up internal systems to streamline the department. Prior experience working in a Charity/Not for Profit role is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as well as strong organisational skills. Our clients are looking to pay a day rate equivalent of £18-25,000 for the initial period depending on experience.
