Job Title: Junior SEO specialist My client are a leading agency and are currently seeking a Junior SEO specialist to join their team. This is an opportunity to join the online marketing department in one of the fastest growing digital organizations in the UK. This is a highly creative and forward thinking company to work for, where you will be given the opportunity to excel and work with an excellent client base. The role includes: Tracking, maintaining, analysing web sites, monitoring overall SEO - keyword ranking, indexed pages and backlinks, implementing on-page and off page strategies. You will report into and communicate progress to the SEO manager. You will also be involved in researching new initiatives to improve SEO practices. Ongoing Development of Internal Documentation Knowledge of Internet and web development technologies: HTML, XHTML,CSS and PHP would also be desirable for this Junior SEO role. Naturally you will have knowledge of the Search Engine Marketing industry, as well as passion and drive to excel in this fast paced environment. Requirements: - Understanding of Search engine optimisation - Need to be net savvy and have good PC skills - Basic understanding of search engines, websites and social media - Excellent verbal & written skills, as you will be working within a team - You need to be passionate about the web & enjoy spending time on it - Efficient, as you'll work hard, you will be taught how to strategise online - Need to be a team player who's able to lend creativity to group projects - And fundamentally, you need to be willing to learn, lots.
