This is an excellent opportunity for a Head Chef to join one of Brighton’s best contemporary hotels set in an enviable location.
The right candidate will need to be currently employed as Head Chef or Senior Sous chef within a first class hotel or a quality restaurant and ready to take on a new challenge. As Head Chef, your main responsibility will be to manage the restaurant and banqueting food operation both of which have recently undergone extensive refurbishment, and to demonstrate excellent kitchen management skills The right Head Chef candidate for this challenging role will need to be creative, keeping the style of food simple, delicious and attractive using excellent quality local ingredients from local suppliers. Knowledge of food cost will be essential. As Head Chef, you will need to be a keen team player with excellent leadership skills who will be able to delegate, motivate and build the brigade in order for them to have full involvement of both restaurant and banqueting food preparation. Your expertise and input will be required to move the Restaurant and Banqueting business forwards concentrating on restaurant growth. You must have at least 3 years kitchen experience at a senior level where you have not lost your passion for food, eager for a new challenge, and be able to demonstrate your culinary skills that will make a difference. All candidates will need to have the relevant experience and expertise required as well as being eligible to live and work within the UK. |
