A great opportunity has arisen for a Digital Projects Manager.
This is an opportunity for a digital project manager to take up a newly formed position in the fast growing digital department of a top full service advertising agency. This is an opportunity to work in a challenging, friendly environment where you have the ability to work a broad scope of client and projects – enabling you to take your career to the next stage You will understand all aspects of project management, from planning and setting customer expectations, resourcing, to delivery, managing customer relationships and financial tracking. Day to day work will involve: - taking briefs, understand project requirements and delivering quotations - talking to and updating clients on current projects - sourcing and managing external suppliers where required - preparing and maintaining project documentation and technical specifications - making sure projects complete on time and on budget - managing the work flow of the department The role You will be working with designers and programmers to schedule, resource and deliver the projects and ultimately manage the testing and launching of our projects. You will have proven knowledge of the financial side of project management and be capable of providing quotations and invoices. You will be confident, organised, resourceful, pro-active with an eye for detail and the commitment to complete a task. You will have good communication skills, enabling you to break down technical work into concepts the digital team and customers can understand. You will be able to manage many projects at once and stay calm and focused under pressure. You will have an excellent understanding of the web design and development process, including: - Ability to both produce website documentation including functional & technical specifications and sitemaps - Experience of Content Management Systems and the Open Source platform Joomla if possible You will understand the following but not need programming skills: CSS, XML, Accessibility and standards, Server-side language PHP, Databases, AJAX, Flash, JavaScript, XHTML, Content Management, eCommerce, SEO, PPC and online marketing. salary circa 30k |
