A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join my client, a growing business established in 2000, who specialises in e-communications and publishing online web titles for healthcare professionals and public/patients. Also provides market research, corporate e-marketing, campaign and web development/consultancy. The Role: • Sourcing and selling online advertising and sponsorship to pharma industry brand managers. • Account managing clients in global pharmaceutical industry marketing and communications, brand teams and team leaders and director level. Key to role is tailoring suitability of our solutions to client requirement. • Responsible for sourcing and generation of new business, taking responsibility for winning new accounts through pitching our solutions and growth of existing relationships through the introduction of our wider service offering. • The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with both existing and prospective clients - tailoring communication solutions to their business requirement and strategic communication goals. The ideal candidate will be: Educated to graduate level, you are a self motivated go-getter, enthusiastic, positive, self-starter happy to work individually or within a team, you enjoy a challenge and working to find solutions for your customers. You understand that behind the complexities of a sophisticated product sell, lay the realities of pitching and closing business. Comprehensive product knowledge and initial coaching will be given however you will already have proven media or advertising sales experience and a rounded understanding of e-communications. You need to be a confident and experienced user of telephone, this role involves pitching communication concepts to both new and existing clients. You are a person who enjoys taking the initiative and setting/leading the agenda. Must be computer literate to Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) standards, ideally comfortable with writing proposals and confident presenting face to face. Results and ideas driven with strong entrepreneurial spirit, assertive, highly motivated, ambitious. energetic, well presented, professional, eloquent, confident. Experience: • Minimum 3 years Advertising/New Media/Web/Digital communications. • Knowledge of pharma/healthcare sectors advantageous but not essential. Motivated by: Financial reward, career progression/personal achievement/advancement. Location: Crowborough (Office Based, some international travel may be required) Note Company has European office in Crowborough UK and Asia Pacific Office in Sydney, Australia. Clients: Major Pharmaceutical Companies & brand/therapeutic teams. Salary: £23k to £28k based on experience office hours are 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday although in reality many staff work longer hours.
